Teach Every Day

If you are in the hunt for teaching ideas, encouragement, and inspiration – or would like to share some of your own – you have come to the right place.

Welcome!

Teach Every Day is dedicated to all of the new teachers, and seasoned teachers, who work to become better at what we do – helping students. Teaching is a skill. I firmly believe anyone can be a good teacher by practicing those skills we learn from other good teachers.

So come on in and explore! We will all benefit from collective wisdom and experience. So ask questions, leave comments and add your own ideas –  we are glad you are here!

We all need each other

My name is Jessica Parker. I have been teaching since 2013 at a wonderful charter school near Raleigh, North Carolina. I was so overwhelmed my first year teaching, but I leaned on the veteran teachers around me, and the internet, to find all the resources I needed for success.

I started this blog to give back to the amazing teaching community that I relied on, and still go to when I need help – which is often! We all need each other to be the best teacher we can be – for ourselves and for our students!
